I saw an ad in Hawaii magazine about this book so I checked it out on Amazon and decided to download the Kindle edition. I'm glad I did because it was a very interesting account of Virginia Cowart's life beginning with her teenage years while attending Roosevelt High School on Oahu. It started on December 7, 1941 and led us through her life during war times in Hawaii. It was a very interesting perspective to see it through her eyes and I really enjoyed the book. Mahalo to the author for sharing her experiences!
