Was quoted $800 for the part, $75 for the call-out and $125 for materials (pipe dope, really?). Like many of you, was also told the entire furnace, AHU, A/C, condenser, dampers & duct work needed replaced for a special one time deal of anywhere from $8-14K, depending on the rip off artist you talk to. I had soldered the points on the circuit board to repair thermal micro-fracturing over the years and that bought me a couple months of planning and research, then I purchased this exact replacement AND A SPARE FLAME SENSOR IGNITOR; I think everyone should have a spare ignitor hanging in the furnace room, you'll be thankful when you need it someday. Installation was basic IMHO and I had it done before the thermostat dropped low enough to kick it back on. Read the instructions, be safe, use youtube, use the right tools but don't get all proud of yourself and sign/date to your newly installed valve. Insurance Nazis won't pay a darn thing if something happens and they think you did your own work.
