Designed for multiple applications but has turn down so low you can smoke a turkey on low fire or sear a steak on high - and all with 100% infrared energy. One Burner, 36"Infrared, Flare-Resistant, LP Gas Grill with Regulator for 20 lb LP Cylinder. LP Gas Bulk Tank Regulator sold separately. All TEC grills require a TEC specified regulator to be installed on the grill. As a tabletop/counter-top unit, the G-Sport is the only full-size grill tested and approved to be used on combustible surfaces such as wood. As a replacement for traditional built-in models, this grill can be placed directly on the counter-top of an outdoor island - no cut-out opening required - allowing for greater flexibility in the use of the outdoor space. As a permanent grill on a stand, the G-Sport is offered with an optional pedestal base designed for easy assembly. Four thumbnail screws, inserted on the underside of the pedestal tabletop at each corner, fasten the legs of the grill securely to the base. The convenient design of this unit makes it easy to transport to sporting events or vacation destinations. Simply remove the thumbnail screws from the underside of the tabletop and lift the grill off the pedestal. Tool/Towel bars, located on either side of the grill, also serve as handles for carrying.

For anyone that truly knows how to grill... This is the grill! I will adjust as the grill ages, because my Weber's, while lasting 15-20 years, can be disappointing when grilling? It appears to be well built, but if I see any sign of rust, I will bitch slap this rating!I've had this grill for awhile. It is one of my favorite purchases last year. Easy to take apart and clean. Very simple yet strong construction. Expensive, but worth it.I have had mine for about 7 years and after 3 years I had to replace the cover under the burner as it rusted out. Replacement was most difficult as most everything had to come off. The screws that holds the legs and bottom cover on were "welded" in and would not come apart without using a torch. This past year I needed to replace the handles on the cover and sides as they were pitted and stained. Same issues - "stainless" steel screws - welded in. I had to use a special tool to break them free. Once I had the cover handle off and was ready to install the new handle, I discovered the new handle was not the same size nor spacing for the screws. They sent the wrong ones and would not send the correct ones. Now the burner is rusting, the glass is cracked, the lighter doesn't work, the handles are pitted, and the "stainless" steel is stained. Customer care does not care - I had placed several calls and was promised that someone would call me back. That didn't happen. I called for over 4 months for help and to no avail. I now have a pile of "stainless" steel that is useless, what a waste of money - looking for something better.I must start by saying that I have owned many grills over the past years, and even the other expensive ones have never fully satisfied me. The cheap ones rot out, the expensive ones eventually do as well- but never have I had a grill that can do what this one can! It cooks all of my food evenly across the whole grill grate area, no cold or hot spots, it can slow cook my ribs for 2 hours and also sear my steaks in minutes (perfectly I might add) and it can go virtually anywhere! I took it with me when my family went to Isle of Palms, SC last week and as you can see I just put it on a wooden table and grilled our salmon right there. Hands down this is my best purchase in the grilling/outdoor world. And if you are worried about the cleaning situation, you shouldnt. This bad boy will incinerate all the junk off the grates when you are finished.A side note- this is the only grill manufacturer that I know of that everything is genuinely made in the USA with the highest grade 304 stainless steel. Their manufacturing facility is in Columbia, SC and their people are the kindest you will find. They offered for me to come by and tour the plant when I called and talked with them, unfortunately we passed through after they closed for the day. The owner and founder, Bill Best, is a veteran and pure genius. If you want to support a hardworking US company, you have found it here! LOVE MY TEC!This grill has an inter shell which supports the burner, heat deflectors and the radiant glass. It is not stainless steel and will completely rust away even if you use the TEC cover when not in use. It basically turns into an useless piece of junk. Life span 3 to 4 years max. Not much for that kind of money. Don't bother contacting TEC...they do not want to hear from you.I've had my G-Sport for 3 1/2 years. Before I had a conventional grill which I rarely used because it took so long to cook. This TEC not only is quick but gives you the juiciest piece of meat you'll ever have. This is the same technology that Ruth's Chris' uses, except it's better. The G-Sport also cuts down low so you can cook chicken, ribs, and even turkey. Totally Awesome.
