I purchased this water can, so I can water my pets. This 6 gallon container is a heavy duty plastic andone thing I love about it is the two handles. The top handle makes filling easier and carrying as wellas tilting when it's nearly full. The side handle is great for pouring when the water level is lower.I cannot lift heavy items, so I can fill this half way and not need to refill it for a week or more. I do lovethat this watering jug has the 6 gallon capacity, so it will hold as much as I'd like it to, if I had assistancewith it. I love the beautiful blue color, which reminds me that this jug is to be filled with water only.This is a pricey purchase, and used milk containers can be used for storage, but will eventually leak,especially if stored on concrete. I am not storing mine on concrete, and I expect this thick plastic jugwill last my lifetime, if not longer.
