I actually really like my new water bottles. They hold a couple gallons, and are very lightweight as well. They'll last for years, but it bugs me that the nozzle end leaks on multiple items (one I had to super glue on). Price was good, and for that reason I'll keep them and make due! You can do better, but will surely spend more money (get a spout that twists on vs. this cheaper style). I'm using these at a Short Term Rental where I'm TRYING to get Guests to buy into helping water plants while on the property (everything is dying, people are lazy lol).Best of luck...and by the way, 4/5 Is not a bad score!I used it to fertilize my plants. Easy to pour and not too heavy when full.I ordered this because my hands are arthritic, and my old metal can was just getting to be a bit much. The design itself is great, it’s lightweight but seems fairly sturdy. Two problems. The sprinkler head on it leaks terribly, with water pouring out from a spot on the rim where the black plastic appears to have been chipped in manufacture or packing. I will keep the can because I can still use it for watering, just not sprinkling. Will likely run a bead of silicone caulk around the rim to stop any leaks. Second problem is that the white plastic cap you can put over the filler area has a nice little spot to attach to, but as soon as I open it, the lid flips off anyway. I wish that items would just work the way they’re supposed to!Love the size, ease of filling , ease of carrying and pouring. The sprinkler head wouldn’t stay on. When it stayed on the spout water leaked around the edges that gripped to the spout. I got some waterproof adhesive and glued the sprinkler head to the spout. It still wants to leak a stream unless you have it tipped hard to sprinkle. Not ideal for my needs but I’m still using it.I like the long spout on this watering can. Best of all, though, is all the water goes exactly where I want it to go. There's no potential for spilling out of the top because there's a cap that snaps into place after filling it up. I do wish there were a 2 gallon version. This is a very good product.This product works much like you would imagine. Not bad. The two things I would have changed: this is sold as a 1.5 gallon container, but the markings on both sides of the unit are in liters. It would’ve been much better to of put liters on one side and gallons on the other. How hard would that have been??? The other thing is that if the spout was about 1 inch longer, it wouldn’t have spilled out so easily when the unit is filled to capacity. Because of that I will probably only fill it to about 3/4. But all in all this is better than what I have been using and the construction isn’t terrible.Works well.If you don't want to use the filter on the spout - that is - you don't care if the water pours directly out of the spout - then this is a relatively inexpensive watering can that will probably last a few seasons. However, I DID want the filter (the thingie with the holes in it so the water comes out more gently - then don't buy this. The filter top just falls right off when you start watering - no matter how hard you try to push it on firmly.There is a positive feature - the hole in the top where you put the water in has a cap and it DOES fit well so you can avoid water spilling out of the top when watering.Please do not buy. The spout is NOT long; it is the exact same length as my regular wearing can, which cost $7.99 CAD. I was prepared to accept that it has a smaller water capacity than a regular watering can, if the spout were longer, but it’s not. Also, BIG problem: It ships with the sprinkler head/ rosette inside the can and I can’t get it out. I have tried every position I can think of, had a friend try, etc. – no luck.
