I had a PB-770T for 7 years that provided 100% flawless service. I have to admit I have all Echo equipment because it simply works and is for me at least 100% reliable. I used to run Stihl equipment but their 4-stroke/50:1 fuel-oil mix technology was a huge issue with many engine failures in the beginning, plus their equipment, although well built, lacks in power compared to my Echo tools (Chain saws, trimmers and blowers). Stihl currently has nothing coming even close to the Echo PB-8010/9010 blower! Echo is truly commercial grade with a fantastic warranty. I sold the PB-770 I had for such a long time last fall because I bought Echo's new largest blower the PB-8010T. The 770 is great until you get to huge piles of wet leaves and technology has moved on to create even bigger more powerful blowers. The 8010 is excellent for our fall work because it simply moves everything and we love this unit. But for certain clean-up work it is actually too large and powerful. I regretted selling the 770 because for smaller jobs and a more focused airstream it works far better than the big 8010 i.e. blowing grass clippings. The airstream from the 8010 is massive and less focused so stuff will blow into all directions if it is just grass clippings or a few leaves. The 770 has a far more focused air stream to direct and move the debris where you want it. Now I have both again and they are a perfect pair. The 8010 can't be beaten when moving massive amounts of leaves, even when wet, and the 770 is perfect for smaller and summer jobs than the 8010. These are the best blowers on the market in my opinion.
