Ladies, you will love this device. It is light weight and so easy to use. I have left my lights on before and had a dead battery in the morning and lately I had a battery that seemed to lose a charge every once in awhile. I got this and problem solved. I am a 63 year old woman and I know very little about vehicles but I now can jump my own vehicle in a matter of a few minutes with no help from anyone. Even though I have since gotten a new battery, I keep this device charged up and take it with me almost everywhere. I have jumped other peoples vehicles helping them out too. This is not a charger, it's a jumper. Read the direction. Leave it on for one minute before turning on key. No battery charges in one minute!! It is like jumping your vehicle from another vehicle, only better. You don't need any extra space to use this. This is so easy and convenient to use. Truly a life saver.update: the flimzy plug that folds out on the back snapped off on the inside.I can no longer charge for it will not make electrical contact to the inside of the case.once the battery is dead, now it's useless.I should have kept my old jumpstarter.///there is only one thing I can say I don't like about this unit.the cigarette outlet (12v power source) is hidden by being black on black plastic.if they made that black plastic cover silver (like the power button) it would have been helpful.using this to replace my old vector charge and start that is 17 years old, I've been replacing the batteries every 4-5yrs. the CCA is 400 so, I've outgrown it.An absolitly great jumper, saved me multiple times in jist one long RV trip. Charging our ATV battery, which went dead during the subzero temps that we have experienced recently.used once has quit working this item should be replaced. The cord was not connected in box, have repaired and is now working.. no need to replace.....It's so light I thought it couldn't be good, but I was wrong.
